- ShareGeo. A spatial data repository - a place where researchers, students and lecturers at UK HEFE institutions can deposit data for anyone to download and use.
- There are a number of projects which involve the digitisation of paper maps taking place. A list of such projects in GB is being compiled by Anne Taylor at the instigation of BRICMICS. Information on projects that should be added to the list is very welcome (contact email@example.com)
- There was a lot of useful information on the website for JISC Digital Media (previously Technical Advisory Service for Images, TASI), a service that gives advice on digitisation issues to the higher education community. However, the service was retired on 31 July 2016.
