Angela Wilson

Angela joined the Society in the 1990s while studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Cartography and attended her first Symposium in Bristol, where she met her first employer who was exhibiting. Since then she has attended many Symposia and volunteered and led several Restless Earth Workshops, and Angela has also represented the Society at national exhibitions. Angela spent 14 years as a cartographic technician in the Army Reserve and 17 years producing maps for clients such as DK and BBC Publications. Today, Angela works for the Royal Navy, supplying Geospatial data to the Fleet. In her spare time, she practices yoga, produces a bi-monthly magazine and sings in the church band. Angela also volunteers at Real Ale Festivals and as an active member of CAMRA, she helps to organise local events.
