31 August - 2 September 2014 Society of Cartographers 50th Annual Summer School Conference, University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland, UK Full details and Programme can be found at: http://www.soc.org.uk/soc2014/index.html The SOC 50th Anniversary Annual Summer School Conference is open to members and non-members and is a great opportunity to keep up-to-date with current issues in Cartography, Mapping Technology & Map Design and to network with fellow map-makers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It is especially beneficial for those working within small units or freelancers who can particularly benefit from the informal discussions and exchange of ideas with fellow mapmakers.
