Customer Service Representative - Charting
Position Type: Permanent Full-Time
Department: Charting Production
Location: Hersham, United Kingdom
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing all customer enquiries
regarding Navtech’s Charting products, controlling product logistics, updating and releasing
chart information, file management and liaising with suppliers. All duties are expected to be
completed to the required specification, customer satisfaction must be ensured at all times.
Responsibilities
Update, amend and maintain customer and product details in the Chart Administration
Program (CAP).
Deal with all Customer enquiries/contracts promptly, accurately and professionally
using the most effective communication channel.
Action customer orders ie Adhoc, Subscription and invoice accordingly. Ensure all
company and departmental procedures are adhered to at all times.
Raise statements, renewals and cancellations on a monthly basis, to the required
specification.
Process payments – From all customers and apply in the invoicing system.
Manage ITP, Print orders and file transfers.
Analyse and release (Supplements, Bulletins, Availabilities, Aerodrome Information)
Create and amend booklets, labels and flysheets within Indesign
Ensure accurate information reaches printers in due time for printing and distribution.
Action revision closeout, send revision lists to printers and then send packing lists
Liaise with production, suppliers and Team Leaders to ensure product reaches all
customers within pre-set time scales.
Maintain the office library on a fortnightly basis
Ensure all relevant administration is carried out on the MKS System in line with
departmental procedures.
Ensure Quality, good housekeeping & Health & Safety is maintained at all times.
Academic/Educational Requirements
Educated to ‘O' level/GCSE standard or equivalent
Geographical/ Aeronautical Knowledge beneficial but not essential
Required Skills/Experience
Minimum of one year in a customer facing role
Candidates must be numerate and have a commitment to acquiring the knowledge
required to do the job
Experience of data input essential
Candidates must be able to produce the high standard of work required for safety
critical data and work to strict deadlines
Quality minded – attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work on own initiative ensuring pre determined deadlines are achieved
Abiltiy to work under pressure
Must work effectively with others in a team environment
Computer literate in Microsoft Office
