The BCS’s GIS Special Interest Group is holding its summer meeting as part of the BCS 2012 Symposium on 13th June 2012.
GIS in the Charity Sector
The use of GIS in charity and not-for-profit organisations is increasing rapidly. The presenters at the SIG will discuss and explore how GIS is being utilised to help charities better communicate their work through mapping and to analyse various aspects of their
business.
Delegates attending this workshop will be eligible to receive two Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points that can be used towards achieving and maintaining Chartered Geographer (GIS) status.
