Job Title: GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Analyst
Department: Research
Reports To: Global Head of Strategy, Research
Location: London, City

Role Purpose:
To support the Forecasting and Strategy team and local research teams and to enhance the DTZ brand by producing high quality maps for integration in market reports, presentations and pitch support.

– Work with ESRI software, external economic data and in-house property market data
– Update existing maps in regular research reports and presentations covering local and regional property markets globally
– Work with local analysts and Forecasting and Strategy team in the UK and Hong Kong to expand the mapping applications across more markets and different reports
– Develop new ways to analyse and represent data innovatively in reports and presentations
– Build relationships with DTZ Research teams
– Build relationships with DTZ business units, especially those with strong research links
– Effectively deal with requests from the business

– Minimum first degree in geography or related studies

Knowledge & Experience:
– Solid grounding in ArcGIS
– Strong understanding of data management, geo-coding and digital boundary availability
– Strong analytical and report writing skills
– Strong numeracy skills
– Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
– Understanding of real estate markets a benefit, but not essential

Skills & Personal Qualities:
– An enthusiastic team player keen to work in a global environment
– Good attention to detail, focussed and logical, with strong communication skills. Able to analyse and present results orally and in writing.
– Good time management and organisational skills
