Job Title: Cartographic Information Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week,
Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term
Grade: Grade E (£20,076 – £25,406 per annum)

Can you meet the challenge?
The successful candidate will need to produce and develop comprehensive, high quality, accurate and timely paper based and electronic mapping and service information products to complement the service information product suite ensuring that internal client and stakeholder requirements are satisfied to meet the overall business objectives of SYPTE, the Information & Technology Strategy and internal client requirements.

Do you have the qualities?
The successful candidate will have BTEC or HND level or equivalent qualification in Graphic design, along with an understanding of public transport timetable and map based information.
In addition, the candidate will have the following qualities:
  • Project management skills – Manages own contribution to project success
  • Administration skills – Completes core processes
  • Analytical and numeric skills – Interrogates and analyses data to gather relevant information
  • Financial and commercial awareness – Maintains good financial control over resources within their department
  • Literacy skills – Effectively communicates via written media
The successful candidate should also have previous experience in the use of graphic design, experience in the compilation and production of timetable information in a transport environment is also desirable.
