We are seeking a GIS manager who will be able to take over when the current manager moves south.
The ideal candidate is likely to be:
Practical and adaptable in nature
Able to understand the rural environment
Willing to learn
Genuinely interested in the use and potential of IT and GIS
Be highly PC literate
Want to work in a small business involved in an interesting mix of projects including - forest planning & management, GIS & cartography, forest certification, contract management
Able to communicate to clients and consultees
Have an eye for detail and recognise quality
Able to work as part of a team
Able to expand the role and grow with the business
Want to live and work in an exceptional part of the world with surfing, mountain biking and mountains on your doorstep
Unlikely to ever say that’s not my job
