Proficiency in the use of the following software is essential: A GIS Package such as Arc GIS for Desktop (Arc Editor) or Quantum GIS Regular essential duties: Create mapping products as shapefiles Create mxd files Create sld files Proficiency in the use of the following software and production areas is desirable: Illustrator Map Publisher Photoshop Knowledge of print Arc GIS Server Geoserver Desirable skills: Convert gml to mxd files Convert mxd to sld files Create mapping products as AI files Importing and tidying shp files in Illustrator Interact with various map related packages and solutions You must be UK based.
