Graduate Geomatics Consultant
Location: Glasgow

An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geomatics Consultant to join Arcus in our Glasgow offices.

The successful candidate will have a varied workload, predominantly within a Geographical Information System environment, with other opportunities in Topographic Surveying, 2D/3D modelling and visualisations.


Good interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently as well as develop creative solutions to problems and excellent communications skills are essential. Other key attributes will include the ability to multi task and identify key priorities, time management with an attention to detail and accuracy of output.

We are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate independent thinking and have an ability to problem solve.

The successful candidate will be competent at using ArcGIS 10.2 to produce high quality maps, with a good understanding of all ArcGIS Geoprocessing toolsets. An understanding of ModelBuilder and Python would also be advantageous as well as other GIS software packages.

Any experience in other GIS packages as well as AutoCAD, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator would also be advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience

You will hold a qualification at Bachelors or Master level in a relevant subject to Geographic Information Science.
