The Resource maps of the European Arctic

The winning entry was designed to educate business leaders about key issues and opportunities in the European arctic region, raising awareness of unique arctic environmental features, industries and potential problems. The entry submitted was a series of maps compiled for a Macromedia Flash presentation at the Mission North conference in Oslo which focussed on commercial opportunities and challenges in the European Arctic. The judges felt that the maps were well designed for a conference environment and portrayed the information clearly and concisely. The structure of the presentation was imaginative and the result was a series of emotive maps which the judges unanimously agreed to be new and exciting.
