Dr Tim Rideout - Secretary
Dr Tim Rideout A Manxman with 10 years in South Africa and 24 years in Scotland, and degrees in Geography and Economics. He is not really a cartographer but rather a geographer, with a particular interest in GIS and cartographic databases. After a few years in the datasales department at Bartholomew, he founded XYZ with Mark Fairbairn in 1998. Since then they have developed a wide range of specialities from software to GIS databases, including the new venture.
In addition to BCS Tim is involved with the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and AGI Scotland.
