The Historical Military Mapping Group (HMMG) of the British Cartographic Society has a very wide range of military mapping interests, with a strong focus on 20th Century military survey and mapping, particularly on the two World Wars.

Spring 2014

The Historical Military Mapping Group (HMMG) study has been postponed until Spring 2014.
2014 is the 70th anniversary of the Nuremburg Raid, Bomber Command's Calvary. The event will include visits to RAF Scampton, East Kirkby aviation museum, RAF Waddington, Newark aviation museum, plus possible trip to RAF Coningsby visitor centre with its airworthy Lancaster.
