Peter is co-convener of the BCS Design Group and a former Editor of the Cartographic Journal.
He is Head of the Geographical and Life Sciences department and Chair of the University's Sustainable Development Committee at Canterbury Christ Church University (UK).
His substantive interests concern maps, propaganda and geopolitics (world map projections, news media maps, images of Europe, nationalism); information graphics in geographical and life sciences; mapping for access and mobility. Peter's specific personal interests are in conservation of biodiversity and cultural landscapes.
