The Ordnance Survey MasterMap Award for 'Better Mapping'
This award is to encourage innovative and stimulating map products derived from, and composed mainly of, Ordnance Survey's MasterMap data. The award comprises a trophy and a certificate and is being run by The British Cartographic Society with the support of Ordnance Survey.
Unfortunately, an award will not be made this year as it was the opinion of the judges that the entries did not fulfil all of the criteria as stated in the rules.
The problem was not with the quality of the products but they felt there was minimal or no innovative use of OS MasterMap data.
