He works to help ensure that customers get the most out of investment they have made in GIS. He is currently also convenor of the BCS GIS SIG and a regular presenter at the Society's Symposium and other industry events. Prior to working for ESRI UK Rob gained a BSC (Hons) in Geography from Sheffield University. He also spent 4.5 years with Ordnance Survey.
