Content: Approx. 4,000 sheets. Maps relating to the Borough of Southwark, all dates.

Special collections include valuation plans (1833-ca.1940), estate maps from the 18th and 19th centuries and Surrey Docks & Canal Plans (1860s to l950s). Small collection of aerial photographs (also ca. 25,000 ground photographs of locations within the Borough).

Forest Arbitration maps, etc. (l9th-20th centuries); maps of the County of Essex from 1576. Geology, land use, town planning and war damage maps.

Collections include A. Forbes's Manor of Walthamstow (1699) and John Coe's Parish of Walthamstow (1822).
