Tyne and Wear area 17th - 21st centuries, including Ordnance Survey (1st - 4th editions, 6", 25" and 10ft. scales), printed and manuscript maps and estate plans.

Particularly significant collections including maps are those of the Tyne Improvement Commission (Port of Tyne Authority), River Wear Commissioners (Port of Sunderland Authority), and Thomas Bell & Sons, surveyors, all 18th - 20th centuries.

Plan printing and digital photography available to order. Self-service photography allowed (charge).
