Posted - 10/03/2008 : 18:29:45 im a graphic design student at the university college falmouth i have always been interested in the aesthetics of map making so for my degree peice am producing a magazine that displays interesting ways of mapping including instilation art, animation, and experimental print i wanted to call it modern cartography, but my question is does the word cartography apply purely to land mass or can it also be applied for example to the mapping of blood vessels in the human body or the mapping of the internal peices of electrical goods? any help would be much appreciated. thanyou yours scincerely daniel
