Win an iPad
The Ordnance Survey OS OpenData Award

With OS OpenData you can freely access a selection of the most detailed mapping datasets available for Great Britain. They range from gazetteer products to fully customisable, mid-scale vector mapping offering a great foundation to design and create innovative and exciting map products.

Ordnance Survey is sponsoring this BCS Award which is to encourage such products and offers you the chance to win an Apple iPad 64GB!!

It will be given for the most outstanding use of OS OpenData presented for consideration with an obvious focus on the cartographic quality. A significant amount of the data that entries are derived and composed from must be OS OpenData but they can take any form as there is no restriction on the type of output.

The award will be made annually or exceptionally at other times as may be determined by the Council of BCS. Entries will be considered by a panel of judges from Ordnance Survey.

Entry forms are available now and entries close in July 2013.

This award is open to anyone so why not download OS OpenData today and create an award worthy map-sterpiece!
