Creation from Catastrophe Exhibition

The BBC reported on a proposal to rebuild London on a grid system following the Great Fire of 1666.

Sir Christopher Wren's new plan was submitted to King Charles II only a week after the fire. The new plans are featured in an exhibition Creation from Catastrophe at the Royal Institute of British Architects. The exhibition features plans drawn up by eminent architects of the time as well as plans for other cities.

The exhibition runs until April 24th.
