Content – general map collection: c. 55,000 atlases and sheet maps (about half of which cover Birmingham and the West Midlands). Collection includes: extensive Ordnance Survey coverage of the British Isles (larger scales mainly for Birmingham/West Midlands area, but including non-current 1:10,000 or 1:10,560 National Grid sheets for whole of Great Britain). Recent 1:1,250/1:2,500 and 1:10,000 printouts for Birmingham only. 35 18th century atlases.

Skett collection of c.4,000 sheet maps (Ordnance Survey 1:10,560, 1:25,000 and 1:63,360 maps, and 18th and 19th century printed maps, mainly British).

Wide range of general maps, British and foreign; mainly non-current.
