Scottish Borders Archive and Local History Centre

There is a small collection of pre-OS county maps, covering the areas of Berwickshire, Peeblesshire, Roxburghshire and Selkirkshire, including those by Armb, Blaeu, Brown, Knox, Moll and Stobie. Extensive collection of OS 1:2,500 2nd edition (1897-99) covering most of the Borders, with some updated editions for 1921 and 1932. Some special maps illustrating roads and railways.

Note: There are a small number of local maps held in the Area Libraries of Hawick, Duns and Galashiels, as well as in the Central Local Collection of the Library HO in Selkirk.
