Fairly comprehensive 0.S. coverage of present Wigan Metropolitan District at scales 1:10,560 and larger, first editions to 1970s. Urban plans at 1:1,056 (1840s) and 1:500 (ca.1890). Several tithe plans (original or facsimile), most with schedules. A few estate maps (18th century onwards), as well as some official maps e.g. Board of Health plan of Wigan (1852), Urban Sanitary Authority plan (1876), and Guardians plans of townships.
