World Soil Survey Archive and Catalogue - WOSSAC

Cranfield University

The mission of the World Soil Survey Archive and Catalogue (WOSSAC) is to provide a secure home for soil survey reports, maps, imagery and photographs produced by British companies and surveyors overseas over the last 80 years from some 250 territories worldwide, with a view to ensuring their enduring availability and protection. The archive collection comprises tens of thousands of catalogued maps, reports, surveys, books, photographs, satellite imagery and other artefacts.

The WOSSAC archive website www.wossac.com provides access to search the catalogue of materials in the archive and to consult web mapping tools showing the geographical locations of the geo-referenced materials in the collection.
