Croydon Natural History and Scientific Society, Ltd.

A collection of some 800 items covering northeast Surrey, south London and northwest Kent, at all scales and dates, and including thematic maps and atlases.

Special collections include that of C.C. FAGG (unpublished land use surveys, 1920s); and SURREY MINES PLANS.

Publications include A Croydon Backcloth: Some little known Estate Maps in Lambeth Palace Library, (L. Thornhill, Procs. CNHSS, vol.16, pt.3, 1977), which includes reproductions of estate plans.

Articles from recent Bulletins and the Bibliographies for Regional Survey of the Society are available on the Archives site available through the Home Page.
