Published since 1964, The Cartographic Journal is our world-leading peer-reviewed academic periodical that presents the very latest research in the world of mapping. Its scope covers the art, science and technology of presenting, communicating and analysing spatial relationships through cartography, geovisualization and their associated disciplines.

The Cartographic Journal is published quarterly by Taylor & Francis. Printed copies are sent to Full, Corporate & Small Corporate members and Fellows.

Student members receive digital versions only.

Members who are entitled to access The Cartographic Journal online should have received instructions on how to access it through Taylor & Francis. If you are unable to, please email Taylor & Francis with your membership details and ask for your account to be activated.
