Fellowship status offers a platform to gain professional recognition, grow networks of expertise and expand discipline knowledge. Fellowship is a recognition of your achievements by your peers.

Fellows receive all the benefits bestowed on Full members and also have the right to:

• Use of the post nominal FBCartS

• Regular Fellows events

• Use of the @cartography.org.uk email address

All individual members are eligible to apply for Fellowship. Applications require support from one or more existing Fellows and all applications are considered by the Membership Committee. Any decison to proceed with appointing a Fellow has to be ratified by the BCS Council.

The annual current cost of being a Fellow is £65.
