UK National Report
The BCS produces a National Report on the state of the mapping industry every 4 years
The BCS, through the UK Cartographic Committee (UKCC), represents the UK at the International Cartographic Association on behalf of the Royal Society.

Every four years it produces a National Report on the state of the UK's mapping community which is published in a special issue of the Cartographic Journal and circulated to all the delegates at the ICA Conference.

The last report was published in May 2023 (Cartographic Journal Volume 60 Number 2) for the period 2019 - 2023. It was authored by Alexander J Kent, Christopher Budas and Seppe Cassettari.

The Cartographic Journal can be downloaded by members from the Taylor & Francis online archive.
A digital version of the report is also available through the Geoviz Resource Centre.
